My sister and brother-in-law celebrated their first wedding anniversary in 2018. I wanted to come up with a unique (and not soppy or nauseating) anniversary card. I used my Cricut and Cricut Design Space to design the topper for this using image Bear from the Bits and Pieces cartridge. The backing paper I downloaded from here.
I created a square of 4.5 inches so it would cut my topper all in one. I put in one bear and got it to the size, my topper is 4.5 inches square. Once I had one at the size I wanted, I copied it and used the flip option and in this case, used the horizontal option.
I put it so the front foot and the nose were touching. Once you’re happy with the position, select both bears, and select weld. This will make it so the bears are one cut rather than two.
I then positioned the writing I wanted using a font available through the Cricut Design Space subscription, popped it in position. And then it is time to click the magic button of Make It! Here’s the final card once I put it all together.
